Autumn leaves in the Belladrum Burn

 
 

This photograph represents elements of the two previous images, and perhaps explains the choices I made with those images better than any description alone might afford. Here, the light and composition are superficially almost identical to "Autumn Traffic Lights" (see two photos back). However, by shooting from an angle more perpendicular to the water’s surface (i.e. more like "Satin Water" (one photo back), and by using a more normal shutter speed (roughly a couple of seconds), the colour reflection on the water’s surface is much more subtle and far more detail on the stream bed is apparent. It’s a matter of personal choice as to which you prefer!
